Deleting your ToolBuddy account

In the app

Settings → Data and privacy → Delete account. You confirm with your password.

Without the app

Email us from your account’s address. supporttoolbuddy@bxdigital.be

What happens

If you still have tools out with a buddy, deletion waits until they are back. Your request is never refused — it simply waits, and the app shows you what is still outstanding.

After that you have 30 days to change your mind. Nothing has been removed during that time and one tap restores it.

After 30 days your email address, nickname, first and last name and profile picture are erased, your password is made unusable, every session is ended and your buddy connections are removed. Tools that were never lent are deleted.

What remains, and why

Tools that appear in a loan or a request survive, with your name no longer attached. A loan is a shared story: your buddy has that history too, and erasing only your half would break theirs.
